The governor of the state of Yaracuy, Leonardo Intoci, announced the first export of coffee produced in the state to Russia, a shipment of 28 tons of green coffee beans.
Intoci explained that this progress is possible thanks to the alliance between the Bolivarian Government of Yaracuy and the Tendencia Group, in collaboration with the Venezuelan Coffee Corporation, the Ministry of Productive Agriculture and Lands and the brand País Venezuela.
He stressed that this coordination makes it possible to consolidate actions that strengthen national economic engines, following the strategic orientation of President Nicolás Maduro.
The regional governor emphasized that Yaracuy coffee has particular organoleptic properties, derived from the altitude, soil and relief conditions of the Nirgua Massif and the Sierra de Aroa, areas where production is concentrated. “Each grain represents tradition, quality and the efforts of our people,” he said.
With this first shipment, Yaracuy reaffirms its ability to enter international markets and advance the country's productive diversification. “Yaracuy and Venezuela have a lot to contribute to the world. The soul of coffee is born in our land,” said Intoci.
