The Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Trade reported the export of more than 240 tons of green coffee to the United States and China, mobilized from the Dry Port of Barquisimeto as part of port operation 369.

The cargo included 100 tons from the Portuguese state sent in five containers to China and 140 tons produced in Lara to the United States.

The firm was supervised by the Minister of Productive Agriculture and Lands, Julio León Heredia; the Secretary of Economic Development, Tomás Elías Reyes; and the president of the Foreign Trade Company, Juan Carlos Romero.

During the first quarter of 2026, the country accumulated 4,000 tons of coffee exported. In the case of Lara, 90 containers have been moved to the United States, United Arab Emirates and Italy so far this year.
