Bolivarian Government expresses condolences to Nicaragua for the death of Fernando Fuentes Fraile

The Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil, on behalf of the President in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, expresses his “heartfelt condolences at the death of Fernando Fuentes Fraile (1963-2026), a Venezuelan by birth and a Nicaraguan by decision and commitment to life”.
The foreign minister stressed that “at this time of deep sorrow, the Bolivarian Government accompanies the people and Government of Nicaragua, as well as their families and loved ones, reiterating the historic bonds of fraternity that unite us.”
In his account on the social network Telegram, Gil stated that the trajectory of Fuentes Fraile, “constitutes an example of human and cultural integration between our peoples. From Nicaragua, he contributed with dedication to the development of communication, fashion and creative training, leaving a significant mark on the cultural and educational field.”
He stated that “Fernando Fuentes Fraile embodied the values of solidarity, work and brotherhood that unite Venezuela and Nicaragua, contributing from his professional work to strengthening ties between both nations.”
“Honor to his memory,” he said.
