President Rodríguez to Venezuelan youth: It is worth believing again and building the country

During her speech at the general debate of the United Nations (UN), the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, sent a direct message to the new generations and to society in general, urging them to consolidate national unity to promote the comprehensive recovery of the Homeland and the firm defense of sovereignty.

With special emphasis on Venezuelan youth, the President sent a message of hope and return to those who migrated in recent years: “To young people who have grown up seeing a fractured country and who often decided to leave looking for what they couldn't find in our country, I tell you that it's worth believing again. This is the time to build the country that many want to return to and not the one that many wanted to flee from.”

In addition, based on the emancipatory thinking of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, Rodríguez evoked the historical doctrine of popular self-determination as the indispensable engine for overcoming current difficulties. “Simon Bolivar spoke of the great national convention where the people decree their fundamental laws and are masters of their destiny,” he recalled, while urging all citizens to join collective efforts “for the rebirth of the prosperous homeland that our sons and daughters deserve.”

At the conclusion of her speech at the multilateral forum, the head of state reaffirmed that internal cohesion constitutes the nation's greatest strength in the face of an international concert. “May God bless Venezuela and may the union of its people be from now on our biggest flag to show the world and demonstrate what we Venezuelans are capable of with good, dignified and with historic morals to move forward,” he said.
