The Bolivarian Government initiated a beautification plan in the administrative capital of Guayana Esequiba, for the social welfare and economic development of the region.

The plan was launched by the Government of Guiana Esequiba with the participation of one hundred workers, between men and women, organized into five specialized crews that are deployed in different strategic points of the city.

Governor Neil Villamizar stressed that these actions are part of a comprehensive plan that will be progressively extended to the entire area of influence of Guiana Esequiba.

“We will not be satisfied with intervening only the administrative capital. We will bring this beautification and maintenance program to every town and every community,” said the regional president.

Villamizar explained that these days respond to a double objective: on the one hand, to improve public spaces; on the other, to generate temporary employment for inhabitants of the area, thus strengthening the local economy, according to the Gobernación press.

Crews are carrying out intensive weeding work in public areas, removing weeds and invasive vegetation that can become a source of pests and diseases.

At the same time, a controlled tree pruning program is being implemented, ensuring the health of urban trees and preventing risks during the rainy season.

In addition, comprehensive cleaning of the sewer system was carried out along Troncal 10, the main access road to the city.
