Bolivarian Government initiated the Single Register of Housing in Mare Abajo urban development in La Guaira

This Saturday, July 11, the Single Housing Registry began in the Mare Abajo urban planning, in Carlos Soublette parish, La Guaira state, with the objective of serving families affected by the double earthquake of last June 24.
The activity, which was led by the Minister of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing, Paola Posani, and the governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán, makes it possible to obtain data for each affected family unit.
The pilot test began in the Mare Abajo sector, where there are 1,062 apartments impacted by the seismic event. From this community, Minister Posani announced the deployment of the technological mechanism that will allow each family group to be registered using a unique QR code.
He explained that the system will replace traditional registration processes and will avoid duplication of censuses, while allowing us to know the situation of each family, the state of their housing and the alternative care they require.
“With that QR code you are already registered; you don't need to register again. Your family burden will be reflected there and you can indicate if you want to stay in a temporary camp, stay temporarily with family members or wait for the recovery of your home, depending on the technical evaluation,” he said.
He also specified that buildings classified with green and yellow traffic lights have already begun to be intervened by the Ministry of Popular Power for Habitat and Housing, while structural evaluations of buildings identified with red color continue to determine definitive solutions.
