Bolivarian Government installed 248 Hp submersible equipment to guarantee drinking water in Apure

The Hydrological Department of Los Llanos (HIDROLLANOS) together with the Autonomous Infrastructure Institute of the state Apure ( INFREA) installed 248 Hp submersible equipment in the collection station No. 2, located on the María Nieves bridge, in the municipality of San Fernando.
“This important submersible equipment provides a raw water flow of 320 liters per second (LPS), which will be incorporated into the La Defensa water treatment plant,” said the president of HIDROLLANOS, Eng. Aníbal Aguilar.
In this regard, Aguilar explained that these works are intended to serve more than 150,000 inhabitants of the municipality of San Fernando and adjacent areas with a better drinking water service, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Water Care.
