Ana Iriarte, a resident of the town of Ocumare, expressed her satisfaction with the work done. “This is an excellent day because it is not only ordinary garbage but also large waste that has been accumulating. Sometimes, unfortunately, some visitors after spending a day at the beach or weekdays in the town leave garbage and pollution, so we call them to their awareness on this issue, the idea is to be able to continue enjoying these natural beauties because we are a privileged country in terms of beaches, rivers and mountains”.
The operation will continue to carry out intensively for several days, until the largest amount of waste is eliminated and only the weekly collection routine remains.
