Bolivarian Government of Nueva Esparta advances in water service improvements

The Bolivarian Government of the state of Nueva Esparta is making progress in improving the water service in the entity.
In this regard, it rehabilitated a total of nine desalination plants and the San Juan Reservoir in the Díaz municipality.
According to information provided by the Minister of Water Care , Carlos Mast, and published by Última Noticias, five of the desalination plants are installed in Los Cocos (Mariño municipality), Puerto Cruz (Gómez municipality), El Turpial (Antolín del Campo) La Galera and Pedregales (Marcano municipality), which register more than 60% progress.
He added that four new desalination plants are expected to be added soon with a view not only to “strengthening the Turimiquire system”, but also to consolidate all the water sources and systems that we can reinforce on the island so that the water supply is as efficient as possible.”
