Bolivarian Government oversees implementation of Plan Bodega in El Valle

The Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, led this Saturday the implementation of the Winery Plan in the Parish of El Valle within the framework of vertex 6 of Economics of the Great Equality and Social Justice Mission Hugo Chávez.

“The idea is that our people buy cheaper than in supermarkets or in trucks posted on the avenue, because the merchandise is purchased by the state food corporation INMERCA directly from producers and taken to communities,” said Rodríguez.

He added that the plan is beginning to be implemented in the capital city in conjunction with the Mayor's Office of Caracas, and the methodology is for the Bank of Venezuela to grant him a loan to buy the products directly and sell them directly to the wineries of the communities.

“This mechanism reduces intermediaries and in turn costs up to approximately 60%, so the people will be able to buy cheaper while the territorial brigades will be responsible for locating and selecting the warehouses to which credits and facilities will be given to obtain goods and equipment to preserve the protein,” he said.
