In the state of Sucre, the Bolivarian Government has placed a total of 13,769 tons of asphalt so far in 2025, within the framework of public policies promoted by the regional government to provide safe roads to the population.

This was announced by Lucy Coa, president of the Autonomous Road Service of the state of Sucre (SAVES), who indicated that through the patching and asphalting plan being promoted in the entity, it has been possible to intervene different road sections of Troncal 009 and 010, as well as the main avenues of the eastern entity.

He stressed - quoted by the regional press - that the purpose of the asphalting work is to guarantee road conditions for passers-by and drivers, an action that he said strengthens the protection of citizens who move through the different road arteries of the state.

He explained that 185 sectors in 8 municipalities of the entity have been approached by the institution's crews with work to remove and apply asphalt binder.
