The Bolivarian Government benefited a total of 1,430 coffee farmers in the states of Anzoátegui, Sucre and Monagas with funding under the framework of the 2024 Community Coffee Plan.
In an event held in the town of Caripe, benefits were handed over to 25 communes, of which 19 were in Monagas, one in the state of Anzoátegui, and five coffee farmers in Sucre.
The producers of the eastern states thanked President Nicolás Maduro and the Ministry of Communes and Social Movements for the delivery of these credits that will allow economic growth in the country.
As the governor of Monagas, Ernesto Luna, told the regional press, “in the east of the country, there is a commitment to increasing the surface area of fields, recognizing that it is a strategic area that, linked to nature, makes it possible to sustain and protect water sources”.
