Bolivarian Government ratifies agreement with the Venezuelan Association of Catholic Education

The agreement between the Ministry of Popular Power for Education and the Venezuelan Association of Catholic Education (AVEC) was ratified to guarantee its contribution to the national education system.
The event was attended by the head of Education, Yelitze Santaella and the president of the AVEC, Father Francisco Antonio Méndez Serrano, who signed the document to support the schools that are part of the AVEC.
The minister said, on behalf of the President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolás Maduro, “we have signed the Educational Agreement to advance quality education.”
“For many years, religious people have done significant work in our country, very beautiful, very important for the country. This agreement means a lot to the Venezuelan State, it means continuing to deepen the ties of cooperation, solidarity and brotherhood between the Bolivarian Government and the AVEC,” he said.
For his part, the president of the AVEC, stressed “that both institutions receive a very significant boost, so that each one remains faithful on the path to achieving their goals, within the framework of the country's educational reality”. Later, the authorities toured the spaces of the U.E.P. Colegio San Antonio.
