Bolivarian Government received proposals in prison matters for the promotion of Plan 7T-2030

The Sectorial Vice President for Citizen Security and Peace, AJ. Remigio Ceballos, accompanied by the Minister of People's Power for the Penitentiary Service, VA. Celsa Bautista and other authorities received the strategic proposals, which will allow the promotion of the third line of transformation.

“We are here for each of you from your profession to offer a contribution, a clear idea, and in this way, together with us, to strengthen the Penitentiary System, so that from your reality and experience, you contribute to the consolidation of peace,” said the Chief Admiral, from the facilities of the Ministry of People's Power for the Penitentiary Service.

Ceballos indicated that more than 15,000 assemblies have been held, with the participation of 126,000 men and women, “which will make it possible to carry out the necessary transformations, for the peace, tranquility of the people and economic, social and political development, as well as to strengthen citizen security and the guarantee of human rights.”

For his part, Bautista highlighted that 876 panels were set up in prison matters in the country, among administrative personnel, individuals and prisoners, their families and graduates of the Criminal System, “who provided new ideas, including the recovery and adaptation of the infrastructure of prisons in accordance with international protocols.”

It also addressed the strengthening of social health care; the academic training of private individuals and custody personnel; adjustments to legal regulations; the promotion of coordination between the entities of the Venezuelan Justice System; among others.

The meeting was also attended by the Director General of Human Rights of the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations Justice and Peace, Professor Pablo Fernández; Deputy Joel Cedeño, member of the National Assembly's Internal Policy Committee and servants of the Penitentiary Service portfolio.
