The Bolivarian Government comprehensively rehabilitated the autopsy room at the headquarters of the National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF) in Bello Monte, Caracas.

According to a press release from the Ministry of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), the comprehensive restoration of the autopsy room included improved lighting to ensure optimal visibility during the procedures, the application of new paint, repair of the drainage system and specialized floor maintenance, among others.

Additionally, to enhance the operational capacity of the area, the room was equipped with equipment for the mobilization of victims. In addition, three new cooling cellars were delivered for the preservation of unclaimed bodies.

The reopening of this space was led by the Deputy Minister of the Integrated Criminal Investigation System, M/G Danny Ferrer Sandrea, who also delivered two vans that were recovered by the Venezuelan State, which will be put at the service of forensic sciences, in the states of Anzoátegui and Miranda, to improve response times to any situation.
