Bolivarian Government rehabilitates Guaicamacuto urban planning in La Guaira

The rehabilitation of the four towers benefits 53 families who have lived in this urban area for 13 years

The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Integral Development in Urban Planning of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela, Carolina Cestari, delivered the rehabilitation work that was carried out in the Guaicamacuto urban planning, as part of the recovery of Paseo de Macuto.

The rehabilitation of the four towers benefits 53 families who have lived in this urban area for 13 years. Roof waterproofing, restoration of facades, painting of internal walls and green areas were carried out.

Terán stressed that “this is an important achievement achieved in 90 days, compared to the many years it would normally take, thanks to the participation of the people, the National Government and the commitment of President Nicolás Maduro,” he cites a press release from the Government.

For her part, Deputy Minister Cestari said that “despite difficulties, such as sanctions and natural disasters, 68,000 homes have been built in the state of La Guaira (...) The goal is to serve everyone in the state and progress has been made in recovering spaces, ensuring that citizens have a decent roof to live in.”
