The governor of the
state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Integral
Development in Urban Planning of the Great Housing Mission Venezuela,

the recovery of Paseo de Macuto.
The rehabilitation
of the four towers benefits 53 families who have lived in this urban area for 13
years. Roof waterproofing,
restoration of facades, painting of internal walls and green areas were carried out.
Terán stressed that
“this is an important achievement achieved in 90 days, compared to the
many years it would normally take, thanks to the participation of the people, the National
Government and the commitment of President Nicolás Maduro,” he cites
a press release from the Government.
For her part, Deputy Minister
Cestari said that “despite difficulties, such as sanctions and natural
disasters, 68,000 homes have been built in the state of La Guaira
(...) The goal is to serve everyone in the state and progress has been made in recovering
spaces, ensuring that citizens have a decent roof to live in.”
