Bolivarian Government reinforces safe Christmas 2024 operational officers in Monagas with more officials

The Bolivarian Government deployed more than 600 civil servants to reinforce the “ Safe Christmas 2024” operation in Monagas.
During the activity carried out at Plaza Rómulo Gallegos, in Maturín, the commander of the Integral Defense Operational Zone No. 52 (Zodi Monagas), Romerl Romero, reported that the Safe Christmas operation has 600 security agents, including 100 risk management men, 50 firefighters and 50 civil protection officers, and will also have 8 radio patrol units and 80 motorcycles, Radio reports Miraflores.
He stated that the Safe Christmas Plan began on the first of October and this new deployment was carried out to reinforce security during these Christmas holidays for greater peace of mind and security for families.
For his part, the Secretary of Prevention and Public Safety, Eduardo Almérida Padrón, explained that this deployment will fortify the central area of Maturín and the shopping centers in order to protect their own and visitors.
The operation will also provide surveillance and control in tourist areas, churches, and squares.
Almérida Padrón also announced that more than 900 police and military officers will be deployed on December 28 in the town of Caicara, Cedeño municipality to ensure security during the celebration of the traditional Monkey Dance Day.
