Bolivarian Government reopens “El Cafetal” Community Direct Social Property Company in Portuguese

In the context of the 1st Meeting of the Communal Coffee Plan 2026, the governor of the Portuguese state, Primitivo Cedeño, highlighted the tangible achievements of the transfer of management to Popular Power, demonstrating that organized communities not only supply the domestic market, but are already conquering international markets.

From the municipality of Ospino, Cedeño, during the reopening of the “El Cafetal” Direct Social Property Company, Cedeño explained that the producers received the transfer of the plant last year, “today they are inaugurating formal roasting and processing operations”.

“We are ready to deliver the finished product to the domestic market but also to export worldwide. Today there is another experience of a Social Production Company that was transferred last year to the state of Lara and from there we have already exported coffee to the United States,” he said.

For her part, Yasmely, spokeswoman for People's Power, assured that only in Revolution is this type of encounter possible. “We are demonstrating both nationally and internationally that we can and that Organized Communes are contributing 30% of production.”

“This is a link work in the field, only together and together will we continue to strengthen the economy of our territories and underpin strengthening,” he added.
