Bolivarian Government transforms Pinto Salinas in Caracas with works and Popular Productive Power

The President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, together with the head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, led this Thursday a day of inspection and delivery of comprehensive rehabilitation works in the combative community of Pinto Salinas, in the El Recreo parish of Caracas, highlighting the entrepreneurial spirit and the organization of Popular Power.

The visit ratified the Bolivarian Government's commitment to social welfare, announcing and verifying important advances in infrastructure and communal development. The package of works, carried out mainly by the Amalivacan Socialist Commune in coordination with the State, through the National Popular Consultation, includes:

The Head of State emphasized the resilient and productive character of the Venezuelan people in the face of external aggressions and the imperial blockade. He stressed that, despite this situation, the productive spirit of the People has prevailed, setting an example to the world about their strength in the face of adversity.

“Because you know that when the blockade started, all these criminal and legal measures, the imperialists believed that our people were going to shrink. And no one was disbanded here. And here no one is ever going to be achicopaled, because our people are a people of courageous, innovative and entrepreneurial people,” he said.

In a message of peace and sovereignty, President Maduro reaffirmed his anti-imperialist stance, regarding the presence of representatives of the Assembly of Peoples for Peace and Sovereignty of Our America, who came to the commune to learn about the new Community Government System for Transition to Socialism.

- Replacement of roofs throughout the community

- Repair of stairs, roads and replacement of drinking water pipes.

- Replacement of drinking water pipes in the main network.

- Repair of elevators in buildings.

- Repair and waterproofing of 3 drinking water tanks and additional repair of tanks in two blocks.

- Repair of stairs and walkways that connect from Block 1 to 14.

During the tour, several key spaces for self-management and social development were activated, and other works were supervised, such as:

- Inauguration of a Community Pharmacy.

- Commissioning of a Water Treatment Plant.

- Activation of a training room, the Community Bank and the Youth Room

- Exhibition of local Productive Enterprises.
