Bolivarian Government waterproofed roof of the Deanship building of the Faculty of Engineering of the UCV

As part of the work carried out by the Presidential Commission for the Recovery of the Central University of Venezuela (UCV), the waterproofing of the roof of the Deanery building of the Faculty of Engineering was delivered.

In this regard, the civil engineer, Ligia García , explained that these works consisted of removing all the existing asphalt mantle, “which was extremely deteriorated, in addition to the demolition of the top floor.”

Once the first two steps had been taken, a polyester mesh was placed to reinforce the 770 meters of structure.

This work will benefit administrative offices, extension coordination and teacher cubicles.
