Bolivarian National Guard seizes 104 kilograms of marijuana in Apure

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), as part of Operation Bolivarian Shield, in the state of Apure, were able to seize 104 kilograms of marijuana .

The incident took place when the troops were carrying out intelligence, patrolling and scrutiny in the Los Danticos sector in Troncal 2, in the Codazzi parish, Pedro Camejo municipality of the state of Apure, the Ministry of Popular Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reported in a press release.

The report explains that in this sector, an abandoned box was located three packages containing 198 marijuana wrappers, weighing approximately 104 kilograms.

After the drafting of the respective records, the case was left at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office (MP).
