With different recreational, cultural and sports activities, the eighth of Children's Day was celebrated this weekend in the Unity sector of the Santa Rosalía parish in Caracas, where this Saturday the community day was held for the boys and girls of this community.
On the Unidad court and its surroundings, boys, girls and teenagers celebrated with joy and emotion in reclaimed spaces for well-being. In this regard, Naybit Vargas, part of the youth of the community who participated as the organizer of the activity, stressed that this event represents an achievement since in past years it had not been possible to take place.
“The Don Regino and Sixto Bravo Community Councils decided to celebrate Children's Day because for logistical reasons we couldn't do it on the third Sunday of July as is customary, however, we did, as someone says, an eighth for more than 200 children from all over this town,” Vargas said.
He also highlighted the collaboration of the Mayor's Office of Caracas, The General Cemetery of the South, Jesús González, the deputy Juseff López, the Tres Raíces Foundation, the Hermanos Colón bakery, Cesar Atiel companies and of course the two communities that make life in this sector of Caracas
Recreational activities were also developed with inflatable face painting mattresses, educational games and other artistic activities. for boys and girls. In addition to receiving surprises, hydration and nourishment, the children also showed their talent in music and singing.
