Boys and girls from Yaracuy got to know the scientific world firsthand

The spaces of the Yasmín Riera school, located in the Independencia municipality of Yaracuy state, were transformed into an innovation center with the comprehensive scientific training day given by experts from the State Research Center Foundation for Agroindustrial Experimental Production (Ciepe), who presented the Fiola robotic prototype to the participants.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Science and Technology (MINCYT), the central purpose of this meeting was to awaken interest in research and technological innovation among young people, providing them with practical tools that strengthen their academic and personal development.
Through didactic demonstrations, the facilitators explained fundamental concepts of science and research, managing to capture the attention of schoolchildren through experiential learning.
The activity also addressed the responsible and productive use of social networks as allies in the educational process. A highlight of the training was the incentive for female participation in the areas of software engineering and telecommunications, promoting gender equity in strategic sectors for digital advancement.
