Bravo! José Maita qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics

The Venezuelan José Maita won his place in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, after being proclaimed national champion in the 800 meters, at the Brigida Iriarte in Caracas.
With a mark of 1:44.57, the Venezuelan secured his place in the Olympic Games.
“My goal has always been to try to lower the mark, I am very happy because my dream of going to the Olympic Games has come true, and having my family in the stands supporting me is very nice,” Maita told the press department of the Venezuelan Olympic Committee.
He also announced that in a few days he will be leaving for Spain, “I have several competitions there that will help me to prepare myself and arrive in the best conditions in Paris”.
With Maita, there are 30 Venezuelan athletes who qualify for the World Cup.
The one from Anzoátegui has just won a silver medal in the Ibero-American Athletics Championship and a gold medal at the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games.
