Bravos de Margarita rallied and won the
victory against Águilas del Zulia 13-7 in the traditional Chinita Game,
played at the Luis Aparicio El Grande stadium.
The raptors made their first races little by little. In the first episode (1), in the second (1), in the fourth (1) and in the fifth
inning (1). The Islanders scored a 4-run cluster in the seventh chapter to tie the score.
In the eighth episode, the Braves began their
comeback, after the pitcher Pedro Rodríguez allowed the fifth
home run of Moisés Gómez in the campaign that put the visit ahead 6-4.
For his part, Silvino Bracho, after a couple
of outs, tolerated Ramón Cabrera's solo volley in the ninth (the
first of the campaign), who tied the joust at 7.
The 56th edition of the Zulian classic was defined in
extrainnings and the best part was brought out by those from the eastern island. His sluggish run
exploded with six scores against relievers Dovydas Neverauskas and Leonel Campos.
Alexi Amarista drove the race from the
gap 8-7 with a single on the right and the ninth went wild.
Later, a double by Juan Santana produced three more and the final score came
by a single tug from Cabrera.
The victory went to Claudio Custodio and the
defeat to Dovydas Neverauskas. This is the second Chinita Game
won by the insulars in their history.
Both teams will rest this Wednesday, when the activity continues
in the sixth week of the 2025-2026 season.
Bravos returns home to the Nueva Esparta stadium to begin a
two-game series against Navegantes del Magallanes. While Águilas will play against Leones del Caracas
on Thursday at Monumental.
