Brazil commemorated 204th anniversary of its Independence in Caracas with a floral offering to the Liberator

As part of the commemoration of the 204th Anniversary of Brazil's Independence, Ambassador Glivânia Maria de Oliveira honored the Liberator Simon Bolivar with a floral offering before the sarcophagus that holds his mortal remains in the National Pantheon, in Caracas.
The protocol ceremony was attended by the Minister of People's Power for Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Félix Plasencia; accompanied by the Deputy Minister for Latin America, Mauricio Rodríguez, and the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.
The Independence of Brazil was proclaimed on September 7, 1822 by Crown Prince Pedro I on the banks of the Ipiranga River, constituting a unique political process as it passed from a colony to a sovereign empire.
His proclamation signified Brazil's break with Portugal. And after independence, Peter I became the country's first emperor.
