Cabello affirms that the PSUV remains deployed on the street and ready for any electoral scenario

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured, during the press conference of the National Directorate this Monday that the political structure of the organization is permanently mobilized throughout the national territory and ready to be measured in any electoral contest.

Regarding the deployment capacity of the PSUV, Cabello said that “if the party is told that the elections are tomorrow, we are going to elections tomorrow, because we have a presence throughout the national territory.” In this context, he referred to the previous days of popular participation, stating that they are “deployed throughout the national territory, the party is ready and has always been ready.”

Cabello also questioned the attitude of the opposition to the electoral process, stating that “those who ask for elections today, when they are called to elections, say that they are not ready or say that they will not participate, because in the end they do not want or respect the elections.”

He added that this position has been demonstrated in the facts, since “when the opposition wins they recognize, and when they lose they don't recognize anyone, and when they won then from the National Assembly they wanted to dismiss the President of the Republic, assigning themselves tasks that they have neither constitutionally nor politically”.

Regarding the preparation of Chavismo for future voting processes, the Secretary General emphasized that “the day the elections are, the United Socialist Party of Venezuela will be there to win; we don't like the silver medal in the elections, we organize to win and the day that is, this party will be like a single united block to support the people's decision.”

Cabello highlighted the importance of working house to house and urged prioritizing closeness with people over the digital environment, pointing out that the party is constantly on the street; presence is not a substitute for direct embrace no matter how much power the networks have, as Mario Benedetti said about the internet when he said that “he still prefers the old artisanal kiss, which, as always, communicates so much the embrace of everyday life, seeing each other in the eye and saying: here we are in the same fight for now and forever.”
