This Monday, September 7, the
general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said
that the red awning continues to unfold talking with the people on the
electrical issue and with attention to the rains.
“The party has continued to be deployed with the electrical
issue, with the rains and now we have to take care of even
hurricanes,” said Cabello, referring to the fact that in the states of Monagas,
Anzoátegui, Aragua, Caracas, Miranda, Yaracuy and Táchira there have been strong winds recently.
In that regard, he pointed out that the last tropical waves
are passing through Venezuela. “We're going on the 47th and 48th that come
there, supposedly that's how far it went this year, but the most certain thing is that who
knows,” he said.
He also specified that, as part of the
deployment, the PSUV will join
schools starting on Wednesday to help maintain them for the return to
school scheduled for September 14.
“We have given an instruction to the PSUV that, in all schools in Venezuela, the party and the youth make an appearance to help in the maintenance and conditioning of schools,” he said and valued that the return to school is now returning with a mission that is “the issue of prevention on what to do in the event of an earthquake and a natural disaster; with more firmness we are going to work on that”.
