Cabello 10 years after Con El Mazo Dando: This program was born with Chávez made by Chavistas

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, celebrated 10 years of broadcasting his Con El Mazo Dando program with the Chavista People.

“This program was born with Chávez made by Chavistas,” he recalled in the 465 edition of the program carried out at the Mountain Barracks, in the city of Caracas, where among songs, important visits, slogans and joy, they celebrated the first decade of this space where, with the Commander as a guide, the truths of Venezuela are disseminated.

He recalled that first edition of February 9, 2014 and laughingly pointed out that “I didn't know what to wear to go out”, as well as that a few hours before the start of its live broadcast “the program had no name”.

“We already had everything, we only needed one detail: the name,” he said, awakening the laughter of those present who gathered to celebrate this anniversary.

After thanking the team responsible for producing this important space for the truth of the Bolivarian Revolution, he thanked his family members for accompanying him during this decade, as well as the opposition that has been a fundamental part of the content because of his internal struggles.

“I never thought we were going to make it to 10 years. I want to thank the opposition that has helped us so much, as long as they keep screwing up this program will continue to air,” he ironized.

He summarized that the idea of a program stems from a meeting with President Nicolás Maduro, who emphasizes the need to promote spaces to fill the communication gap left by the physical absence of Commander Hugo Chávez and his space Aló Presidente.

“Something had to be done,” he said and recalled that the initial idea consisted of broadcasting videos of Commander Chávez and the participation of guests.

“During those beginnings, we had as guests the fellow President, Freddy Bernal, Aristobulo Istúriz, Jorge Rodríguez, Robert Serra,” he mentioned, among others, whom he thanked for their support in this genesis.

In the midst of these words and as is tradition, in every anniversary program, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, made an appearance, who highlighted the importance of this space to defend the truth of Venezuela in the face of the lies of the international media.

“Without a doubt, the Dando Mazo has occupied a vital space in all the stages that we have experienced from 2014 onward,” exalted the Head of State, who stated that this program has been the window to unveil the plans of imperialism and the Venezuelan right during this decade marked by the onslaught of Venezuela's enemies.

“This program has a fundamental communication impact for the battles we have fought and won, for the resistance and the toughest and most difficult moments,” stressed the National President and considered that this television space “will play a key role in the battles we are going to fight this year towards 2030 and beyond”.

Chavismo on its feet and in battle!

During his speech, President Maduro highlighted how beautiful deep Venezuela has become, after having overcome difficult moments as a result of the genocidal plan promoted by the White House with sanctions that sought to suffocate the economy and promote a humanitarian crisis.

“ Deep Venezuela is very beautiful, rising up, healing the wounds of the economic war, of sanctions,” he said.

In this regard, Cabello highlighted the fundamental role played by the Chavista People mobilized with conscience and love for the country to face this right-wing conspiracy that sought to put an end to the Bolivarian Revolution.

“We are all pushing there and today they threaten us, block us, sanction us and the people are more united than ever. The Revolution is there for whatever comes,” he pointed out and stressed that Chavism is standing, fighting and fighting, and we are going for whatever victories come.”

We must take care of ourselves!

The also deputy to the National Assembly and president of the Permanent Committee on Domestic Policy, called for us to be alert to threats from the right wing and its imperial masters.

He recalled that the violent plans of the extremist opposition do not cease and warned that “the fascists are waiting for Chavism, as they say in Colombia, to use papaya to act with its violent actions.”

“God takes care of me of course, Chávez, my mom and everyone I have up there, and our people of course. That if one sniper failed, that another one also failed, because they are so foolish, it is that we cannot underestimate those plans and we must take extreme care of ourselves, in addition to what we take care of ourselves so as not to fall into the trap that they set us up,” he insisted.
