Cabello: Because of internal fights, popular movements hand power to the most recalcitrant right

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, once again warned that the fights and internal conflicts of the popular movements “end up leading to disaster and, consequently, handing power to the right wing, sometimes the most recalcitrant that we can imagine.”
In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 570, he stressed that the right wing is meddling in these fights and is beginning to feed the egos.
In that sense, he reaffirmed that a revolutionary politician must let go of his egos, and therefore, “he must not have personal ambitions”.
He insisted that when one of those people who claim to be friends tries to falsely flatter him, “fuck him up, that's not your friend. That one wants you to be (to fall into false flattery) to have privileges, they are two different things.”
As an example, he mentioned the occasion when a banker, specifically Juan Carlos Escotet, wanted to talk to him, a conversation that never took place, since “he must not want to talk to me, but to the president of the National Assembly”, a position that Cabello held at that time.
“Not with Diosdado, I don't know that man, he's not a friend of mine, we have nothing in common, he didn't want to talk to me, he wanted to take a picture with the president of the National Assembly,” he said.
For this reason, he reiterated that “do not let your ego be groped (...) I feel a rage against anyone who wants to massage your ego, because that is not your friend, that is something else and it is in those moments that you calibrate, because every step you take is not for the enemy to get stronger”.
