Cabello called for prolonged resistance: The enemy will never give up on its objectives

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, warned this Thursday that the United States (USA) will not give up its plans to achieve “regime change” in the country, so he urged revolutionary forces to remain in prolonged resistance.

During the installation of the V Congress of the PSUV and IV Congress of the JPSUV, Cabello pointed out that you cannot “make the mistake of declaring war on anyone. No. Not to believe that we are going to face someone the convinced way (...) But with a war of the whole people if we can face anyone. We are 30 million Venezuelans.”

He reiterated that the political objective of the US aggression is “to end the Bolivarian Revolution because they have been unable to with the votes. And I think that as they comment on this kind of clumsiness, the less they will be able to get the votes. If we are doing calculations for 500 years, we are going to start calculating 500 more years,” he stressed.

“Our people in arms, mobilize the entire country in a permanent offensive, never go on the defensive with imperialism because it crushes us. He would pass over us, he would convince the world with his lies. We have the truth about this town,” Cabello added.

He stressed that the popular, military and police fusion, “must also serve us to guarantee our own liberation, the liberation of our homeland, in the long term. The enemy will never give up on its objectives.”.
