Cabello: Cultivating real leadership within police forces is essential

The Vice President of Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that it is essential to cultivate real leadership within the police forces.

During his participation in the Continued Business Media Coup Forum, Cabello Rondón stated that “when there is leadership and a boss takes the lead, those behind it feel motivated, accompanied”.

The Minister of Internal Relations, Justice and Peace, recalled that Commander Hugo Chávez created the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and then the National Experimental Security University (UNES), so that police men and women could be trained at the highest academic level and that they could continue their studies.

“Nowadays, without a doubt, the PNB and the police forces have become an instrument for our people. In the past, police forces were used to attack their people,” he added.

He also maintained that the new police are still on the right path, correcting any “flaws” that may arise.
