Cabello: Current phase of US aggression is psychological warfare seeking to divide internal forces

This Wednesday, September 10, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that U.S. imperialism believes it can attack the nation, using manipulations and lies.

“They threaten and the phase that exists right now is the coconut (the head): psychological warfare, which is almost always based on lies, manipulations, fake news, seeking to divide internal forces, so things are easier,” he emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 542.

He said that “if they think it's easier this way, they keep making mistakes, so they're unloading all the artillery against our brother President Nicolás Maduro, we have to tell them that whoever messes with Nicolás is messing with Venezuela. That's not a topic for debate, that's very clear.”

“The threats, the siege, the aggressions against our country have been growing. In truth, these battles are not from yesterday (...) this is from 500 years ago,” he said.

In this historical context, Cabello pointed out that “the super-powerful empire feels that it can come to attack the country, based on lies and manipulations.”

On this point, he recalled the lies that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction, which at the time revealed the falsehood of that accusation, “he was only interested in the riches of Iraq.”

He stressed that this is the strategy that the United States has used to build its false narrative. “The world no longer believes them, the world knows that they are liars, they are manipulators,” he stressed.

He also argued that “whoever thinks they are going to come to Venezuela (to attack) and it's been three days, they don't know Venezuelan women.”
