Cabello: Extremists are used to lying and the only thing certain is that we defeated them

This Wednesday, May 13, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stated that he does not trust the alleged self-criticism of some extremist opponents about the absurd political actions of the extreme right carried out to affect and attempt to leave the Bolivarian Government.

“They are used to lying,” he emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 570.

This was stated by Cabello when commenting on a publication about an alleged self-criticism of the extremist opponent Yon Goicoechea of the interim government of Juan Guaidó and states that his mistake was to bet on the departure of the Bolivarian Government from popular and military pressure and not to seek a political solution.

“You would have noticed before Yon Goicoechea. It's never too late, if it's really true, but since you know them, you know where they come from, you know who formed them, you know what they've done with their lives, and it doesn't surprise me that this is pure gamelot, pure bad grass,” he said.

He stressed that “I don't know if it's true, if he says it from the heart. What is true is that we defeated them.”
