Cabello: Faced with constant threats, we must always have our operational readiness ready

This Wednesday, August 27, the Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that in the face of constant threats and aggressions from the North American empire, “we must always have the operational framework ready with all the details covered.”

In that sense, he argued that this has been one “of the victories of Chavism in all these situations, of the People of Venezuela it has always been to prepare us for the worst scenario, always.”

“The sellers of smoke, the manufacturers of lies, the manipulators, have deceived us and have failed us a lot. They have to be serious,” he ironized during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 540.

He stressed that Venezuela “has really been threatened since the year I think 1492 (...) not only threatens, but aggressions, attacks on our country. The story goes that it took more than 100 years for the chiefs of our tribes to be eliminated in the Caracas Valley by the Spanish Empire”.

He also recalled the measures taken by the Bolivarian Government when the COVID-19 pandemic appeared, “we had to prepare for what was coming and in the end it was Venezuela, even if the petty do not want to recognize it, the country in the world where there was a better response to the pandemic.”

“We have always prepared ourselves, threats are not new, aggressions and threats have always been present, always,” he reiterated.

He also stressed that whoever believes that a Revolution is a path of roses is wrong, “they are wrong, they are in another film”.
