During the most recent broadcast of the Con El Mazo Dando program, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reflected on the historical resistance of the revolutionary process in the face of constant aggressions and destabilization plans promoted by sectors of the opposition.

“The bad guy was (Hugo) Chávez because he didn't let himself be knocked down, the bad guy was Nicolás (Maduro) because he didn't let himself be knocked down. Are we the bad guys because, well, we don't let ourselves be knocked down. These people hate our people, they hate them! And just as that people went out to look for Chávez, new victories will come,” he emphasized.

D emphasized that the strength of Chavism lies in its capacity for defense and in the political awareness of its rank and file, who have been able to interpret every historical moment to preserve the peace of the nation.

Likewise, the general secretary of the red awning highlighted the importance of popular organization over individualities, recalling historical events where the original power took control of the country's destiny.

“We saw how when a people are organized, there is no going back. They don't need leadership, the people surpassed leadership. The great collective leader was greater than any individual leadership,” said Cabello, stressing that at critical moments, leaders have been able to side with the popular will.

In this regard, he praised the courage of figures who stood firm in the defense of the Constitution, specifically mentioning the role played by Isaías Rodríguez in previous years as an example of courage in the face of pressure.

The general secretary of the PSUV reiterated that monolithic unity between the people and their leaders is the fundamental guarantee to face the coming challenges, assuring that the Bolivarian Revolution remains firm thanks to the political maturity of a citizenship that does not allow itself to be subdued.
