Cabello highlighted that the Revolution recovered 70 mayors: We have reasons to be happy!

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted that in the electoral process last Sunday the Bolivarian Revolution regained 70 mayors that were in the hands of the opposition.

“Today we recovered 70 mayors from those held by the Venezuelan opposition; 70 today, we could have obtained more, but when it comes to measuring things it is a great victory. Our people are happy and happy to celebrate one year since the re-election of President Nicolás Maduro and for the 71st birthday of Commander Hugo Chávez. We have reason to be happy!” , he said.

Also, during the March in Homage to Commander Chávez in Caracas, he indicated that the recovery of mayors has to do with the territory, “because no one can think that this is the hegemony in the votes, no, it is the control of the territory to prevent violence, terrorist acts and to have control of the peace of the country,” he said.

In addition, he recalled that these right-wing sectors are “bad at opposing, but it's worse when they govern, they forget; and they only generate around them a clientelary mechanism that is all they can move.”
