The vice-president of the Politics, Public Security and Peace sector, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that in Venezuela the law is applied, criminals or drug traffickers are not executed, referring to an operation, carried out on May 30, when 780 kilos of cocaine were seized in the Caribbean, as part of a joint operation between Venezuela and France.
He stressed that a successful operation was carried out and those responsible were arrested “and brought to justice, not executed, not shot, not massacred.”
He explained this during his Con El Mazo Dando program, commenting on the action of the United States government, which incriminates itself, when he pointed out that in the false operation against the Venezuelan boat, 11 people were murdered, “they are declaring their murder, it's a clumsiness, you cannot use your own clumsiness in your defense. He's confessing that he committed a crime.”
In issue number 541, Minister Cabello recalled that in the aforementioned joint operation, “three countries moved there, we notified, we got on the ship, we got in, a first review was done, we were not satisfied.”
“We agreed and re-entered the ship and 780 kilos of cocaine were found, which were incinerated in La Guaira, and the ambassador of France attended and I think the ambassador of the Netherlands, because it was a joint effort,” he said.
Cabello commented that if Venezuela had attacked the ship, all kinds of accusations would have been generated.
