The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Public Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, denied the accusations made by opposition spokespersons about the alleged detention of children in Venezuela.

“I deny it and I deny it again! Here in Venezuela there are no children in detention,” said Cabello, referring to the statements of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, based on disinformation about Venezuela.

He pointed out that Venezuela is not like the United States and Israel, where there are children in detention and who have not committed crimes of any kind. “ They grab them and separate them from their parents, there (in the United States) there are children in detention to be occupied,” he said.

In addition, he questioned whether the concern is for Venezuela, while in the United States they arrest children and in Palestine they are murdered. At the same time, it showed news reporting that the northern giant has the highest rate of detained children and Israel has more than 45,000 children in prisons with inhumane conditions.

For this reason, he reaffirmed that the statements of the ICC Prosecutor are based on the erroneous information given to him about the country. “ We don't have children imprisoned here Mr. Karim Khan, you were given wrong information and you are giving statements based on wrong information, we don't have children in detention here,” he said.

The woman from the land of Bolívar and Chávez is Venezuelan

The also first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PUSV) argued that the women of “the land of (Simon) Bolívar and (Hugo) Chávez” are Venezuelan, not “Venekas” as the group puts it Rawayana musical in its latest track.

“Here what you have is Venezuelan, here in Venezuela what you have is Venezuelan women not Venekas,” said Cabello in response to longliner Ibéyise Pacheco, who stated that she “was Veneka with pride”; a term commonly used in a pejorative sense against the country's women.

On the other hand, he recommended that businessmen and artists practice their profession and not get involved with conspirators, since this type of activity generates severe criminal and judicial sanctions.

“They get involved on their own, so when you hear them declaring in the media and getting involved in things they shouldn't, you say: My God why don't people dedicate themselves to their work. For example, if you are an entrepreneur, dedicate yourself to your companies, but don't get involved in conspiring because they are going to step on your fingers,” he warned.

He acknowledged that Venezuela is a country where political dissent is allowed, artists and their expressions of protest are respected, but that is different from participating in a conspiracy for a coup d'etat.

We don't have a straw tail here and we don't owe gringos favors

The also Minister of People's Power for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace reaffirmed that the Bolivarian Government does not have a straw tail like some other governments in the region with which imperialism does what it wants.

“Here in Venezuela they can't do that, because we don't have a straw tail and we don't owe the gringos any favors,” he stressed.

In addition, he referred to presidents who do have straw tails, such as Chile's, Gabriel Boric, who is already being accused of sexual assault and that's because he surely hasn't complied with any order given to him by the empire.

He reiterated that they do this with Boric because he is not that “he has a straw tail, that one has a straw body; of course it is, and then they make him say what the gringos want because they know a lot of things to him”.

For this reason, he emphasized the importance of maintaining the unity of the revolutionary forces, as Commander Hugo Chávez taught us to continue fighting, because imperialism knows how to act and has its mechanisms to attack and divide. “Detect weaknesses and press to see if any are pushable,” he said.

I have always said here they can enter, the problem is going to be to get out

Faced with constant threats from imperialism and its lackeys against Venezuela, the revolutionary leader confirmed that he has always made it clear, that “ they can enter here, they are likely to enter, their problem is going to be to get out.”

He criticized the fact that the U.S. empire, especially those sectors of the world closest to fascism, insists on its constant threat against the Bolivarian Revolution.

“They continue to threaten us and believe that here we are going to have our hands tied, that here no one is going to wait for them (...) What they experienced in Vietnam will fall very, very short,” he warned.

He emphasized that imperialism and its lackeys have been making the same mistakes for more than 25 years. “You swore that by assassinating Commander Chávez, Chavism was leaving, no sir, it didn't go, this isn't a man's here, no, this is a country project,” he said.

He stressed that anyone who doubts the resistance and struggle of the Venezuelan people, remember “that we fought against the Spanish empire until it was defeated, 200 years, mess with Venezuela to see what happens.”

The victory of Palestine is the victory of the Free Peoples

Cabello pointed out that the world must understand that the victory of the People of Palestine will also be the victory of the Free Peoples over the genocide and fascism that today insist on imposing itself on the world.

“The Palestinian people today are fighting against Zionism, against racism and fascism, and that is why the victory of Palestine is the victory of Free Peoples,” he said.

He also reiterated his condemnation of the inaction of international organizations on the genocide that is taking place against the Palestinian people, “but they do care about Venezuela.”

For this reason, he mentioned that the arrest warrant issued by the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court (ICC), Karim Khan, against the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, will not be applied. “That's pure straw, that's for them to believe, no actions,” he said.

Here we in the military are a truly united family

The head of the Interior Relations, Security and Peace portfolio emphasized that “the military in Venezuela are a truly united family.”

“ If they mess with a lieutenant, for example, they mess with the family of all the lieutenants in the country,” he said, highlighting the formation of the Military Family Committee for Venezuela.

He recalled that historically the members of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) were subject to many attacks and that is why the wives of the Venezuelan military took a step forward to defend them, so they decided that while they were being attacked they would come out and show their faces too.

He also noted that Venezuela will continue the path of civic-military union as instructed by Commander Chávez .

“On December 6, 1998, the elected president first called for the union of all Venezuelans, and on December 8 he came here and asked: Unity, Struggle, Battle and Victory, that's what makes us invincible and it's the most dissuasive thing that exists to see us
