Cabello: In peoples with dignity, the blockade and sanctions don't work

The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, during the 570 broadcast of his show Con el Mazo Dando, rejected any type of blockade imposed by the powers on countries that defend their sovereignty.

Cabello reiterated that blockades and sanctions harm the people, despite the fact that the justification of the powerful countries is that they only affect the representatives of the State. He also indicated that “in reality they seek to subdue peoples to hunger; this is likely to work for them in some places, but where there is dignity it doesn't work .”

He also expressed his “solidarity and affection” to the people and Government of Cuba, which has been the victim of an economic, commercial and financial blockade for 64 years.
