Cabello: In the ongoing fight against drug trafficking, 47,385 kg of drugs have already been seized this year

This Thursday, during the award ceremony of police decorations in the Courtyard of Honor of the Venezuelan Military Academy, the Sectorial Vice President for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the important procedures that the State has carried out against drug trafficking.

“(Álvaro) Uribe, (Juan Manuel) Santos, (Yván Duque, (Andrés) Pastrana, were running drug trafficking gangs, drug paramilitarism in Colombia,” said Cabello, adding that in this context “the information came to us and we followed it up... They have money! They have a satellite phone, state-of-the-art GPS, special equipment to measure gas levels inside the submarine; we were, we were hunting them, we had a chase and patrol operation all over our coasts,” he said.

In this regard, he indicated that after the successful operation, four citizens of Colombian nationality were captured who were waiting in one place, one of them in another, to assemble the drug and take it to another place. He added that “Another drug shipment was obtained nearby...”

“It's a permanent fight, already this year there are 47,385 kg of drugs this. Who does it affect? drug paramilitarism, gangs, and it also has a backlash against conspiracy groups in Venezuela that have run out of USAID money and are now running out of drug money,” said the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Citizen Security and Peace.

On the other hand, he recalled the time when Venezuela was connected to the Drug Control Administration (DEA) “now more than 900 tons of drugs are being seized, that's quick to say... 396 aircraft have been neutralized by our Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB ), our Aviation boys and girls who receive the information and immediately leave, a group of the Navy, of our Militia of the Police thank our people.”
