The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, pointed out that the Venezuelan opposition is a society broken down by those who represent it.

“In truth, it is a broken society, the Venezuelan opposition, which has nowhere to appear,” Cabello said during the press conference of the National Directorate of the PSUV.

In this regard, he referred to the Secretary of Democratic Action and member of the Socialist International, Henry Ramos Allup, who demanded “free elections” for Venezuela.

“If Ramos Allup is there (in the Socialist International) it's a bad place, that's indicative of something that's not working. That the Socialist International has parties like these and they don't realize it, but that a delegation led by Ramos Allup, Luis Florido and others must go from Venezuela to tell them that Popular Will was not 'socialist' and now the 'socialists are them', speaks very badly of that organization,” he stressed.

He also referred to Yon Goicoechea's statements in which he stated that “they threw me out of better places”, after the expulsion of Popular Will from the Socialist International: “If it was a bad place, why hadn't they left before?

In addition, he pointed out that Antonio Ecarri is only looking for a screen to be named, to put himself in the spotlight, “because no one knows who he is.”
