On the night of Wednesday, September 3rd, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the country is not complicit in either drug trafficking or executions on the high seas.
This was stated in his Con El Mazo Dando program, an opportunity in which he noted that “those who do not owe it do not fear it. In Venezuela we can talk about this.”
He added that we fight drug trafficking “wherever it comes from and wherever it goes. We all know where it's going. I would be very happy if in the United States (USA) they will start a crusade to combat internal cartels and the world would celebrate it. The United States is the country in the world whose inhabitants consume the most drugs on the entire planet.”
He added that “we have never seen a drug cartel put to an end in the United States in the country that consumes drugs the most, I hope that these comments continue to serve to generate answers to doubts.”
In this regard, he urged the US Congress to open an investigation, “who is paying for that, this is a reality because there really is no fight against drugs, what they want, what they call inside is regime change, they are going to have to invent a new one because they are going to get this people united.”
