The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, highlighted the strength demonstrated by the People in the face of aggression and harassment by imperialism and its psychological warfare apparatuses.

“Neither bombs nor missiles nor psychological warfare can go against the dignity of a people, nothing can,” he emphasized during the broadcast of his Con El Mazo Dando program number 555, where he emphasized the importance of maintaining the unity of revolutionaries as the main weapon for victory against imperialism.

“Look at what happened with comrade Luis Arce in Bolivia, he was arrested... that happens when we divide, when we give food to vultures... that's why we must always leave our egos aside and put the Fatherland above anything and stay united because the greatest guarantee of this Revolution is the unity of the People,” he said.

He warned of the consequences of a military invasion against Venezuela. “There are those neighboring countries that want to get into a fight with Venezuela, specifically Guyan and Trinidad and Tobago; lend yourselves so that the gringos can attack Venezuela... take it however you want, however you want,” he said, while not hesitating to point out that the actions of imperialism are directed against all of Latin America.

“Gafo that president who believes that the thing is only against Venezuela,” he exclaimed.

The United States on the road to electoral disaster

He then argued that the actions carried out by the current US Administration are being the breeding ground for an electoral defeat of the Republican Party in the upcoming elections, called “mid-term” elections.

“What is happening right now in the United States will lead them to disaster in the part-time elections, unless they do a monumental fraud as they are used to doing everywhere in the world,” he predicted.

On this subject, he considered that among the signs of this imminent disaster for the ruling party, led by Donald Trump, are the recent electoral defeats in cities considered strongholds for Republicans.

“There was a mayoral election in Miami and the Democrats who had not won since 1997 won (...). If you want to see signs, see that they have them in there, you who love to talk about signs,” he advised.

The shipment of La Chick- Flada

The vice-president of Politics, Public Security and Peace also drew attention to the absence of the extremist opposition María Corina Machado in the award of the Nobel Peace Prize despite having enough time for her arrival.

“There were demonstrations back in Oslo, against the award being given to her and one says; we did our part, so why wasn't she? Because they were afraid of the people protesting in the street or because they didn't move people?” , he questioned.

He recalled that the team of longliners paid for by opposition extremism assured that María la Chik-Flada was in Norway and would attend the award ceremony that recalled “she paid”.

“Those who were in Oslo saying that La Sayona was already there had no idea? Doesn't anyone tell them anything?” , inquired and found that this absence was due to reasons other than those argued by the extremist and her longliners.

“Why didn't the lady show up? What stopped this lady from being there to receive her award? Would I have a toothache? Who told you not to go? Who didn't want to see? Why wasn't it? (...) Because we complied and she had days there, but why didn't she show up?” , inquired and after dismissing the false excuses presented by Machado, he urged them to stop lying.

“Don't make me talk, because I know that story I complete,” he urged.

Ecuador: Drug Highway to the United States

In reference to the so-called fight against drugs that the United States is arguing to attack Venezuela and maintain an extravagant military deployment in the Caribbean, the Minister for Internal Relations, Justice and Peace drew attention to an article published by the American newspaper New York Times that reports the growing trafficking of cocaine from Ecuador to North American territory across the ocean Peaceful.

“Research published by The New York Times points out that up to 70% of the world's supply of cocaine flows through Ecuadorian territory and you see this and ask yourself: Why isn't the U.S. government doing anything in Ecuador?” , he questioned.

In this regard, he did not hesitate to assert that “the United States government does nothing in Ecuador because that country is the one that guarantees that drugs get there”, while reiterating that these publications and the theft of a Venezuelan oil tanker make it clear that the deployment in the Caribbean Sea only seeks the overthrow of the Bolivarian Government to steal the country's wealth.

“What if Tren de Aragua, what if drug trafficking, that's pure straw ! They (the United States) want to steal our oil, our gold, they want to steal our gas, our water, because they don't want to pay for it. And why don't they pay for it? Because they're thieves! They're used to that,” he said.

The real heroes are here

Cabello confirmed the heroics demonstrated by the Venezuelan people to resist the constant aggressions, threats and psychological wars carried out by the war apparatuses of imperialism on a daily basis.

Faced with this, he dismissed the campaign that uses opposition extremism to try to position its leaders as heroes.

“These opponents seek to victimize themselves and talk about heroes, when the real heroes are those who stayed here to resist the most powerful empire of all time standing, with firmness, political, ideological, military clarity (...), with conscience,” he said.

We must be genuinely radical

Finally, he stressed that, in the midst of this battle against the most powerful empire in human history, it is important to maintain the roots that gave life to the Bolivarian Revolution, so he called for the dissemination of the word of Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez.

“In difficult times, Chavistas must once again listen to Commander Chavez's concepts and strategy, there is the way. We are going to release it on social networks, but there are videos of Commander Chavéz that should be the ABC of every day,” he proposed.

He warned that in the midst of this siege “there are people who may believe that it is feasible to sit down with imperialism and think that it will keep its promises and that is not the case, and in the face of that we have to be genuinely radical”.
