The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, questioned this Monday the alleged attack by the United States (USA) against a boat in international waters.

“The subject of the alleged attack on the boat, where they say that there were 11 people, who according to what they say murdered (...) because when someone tells you that we flew a boat and they say there were drugs there and no one is certain that there were drugs there and they tell you that 11 people were there and they didn't stop them to see if it was a drug, to determine the evidence and then bring them to justice, they are applying a Martial Law,” he criticized.

During the usual weekly press conference of the red awning, Cabello pointed out that “they (the United States) publicly declared that they murdered 11 people in a non-war situation, in international waters. What does that mean? Anything goes, that's what they're putting on the table,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he indicated that the US authorities do not want to talk about it. “They want to talk about something else, but it wasn't the murder of 11 people,” he said.

Cabello highlighted that, in addition, they determined once that the ship supposedly left Venezuela “and it was demonstrated, with tests, how many times a boat has to be fueled, that it wasn't even a ship or even a ship and in the end it ended up being a rock, 18 times leaving the northernmost part of Venezuelan territory to reach Miami it had to supply fuel.”
