This Wednesday, July 23, Diosdado Cabello reaffirmed that the return of our compatriots is due to the negotiations that the Bolivarian Government of President Nicolás Maduro has held with the United States directly and without intermediaries.
“This return of some flights from there (...)
has been achieved through direct talks between the government of the United States and that of Venezuela, without intermediaries
of any kind, there are no peeks, there are no
rice farmers, that's direct,” he said during his Con El Mazo Dando program No. 536.
The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) recognized Deputy Jorge Rodríguez,
who was appointed by President Maduro to lead the negotiation
and dialogue with representatives of the U.S. administration. “Do you know what's difficult? Sitting down and negotiating with those who historically break their word, with
those who historically commit to one thing and end up doing something else
; but we have been making progress little by little,” he said.
He noted that tonight another flight of the Plan Return to the Homeland is expected from the United States with a new group of Venezuelan migrants.
