Cabello on the campaign against migrants: Imperialism has been unable to sustain its lies

The sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, reaffirmed that imperialism has not been able to sustain the campaign of lies that they use to harass, kidnap and persecute Venezuelan migrants.

In this regard, from Simón Bolívar International Airport, in Maiquetía in the state of La Guaira, he recalled that Venezuelan migrants arrive in Venezuela after being persecuted by the authorities on the false premise that they are part of criminal gangs.

“They arrive after being kidnapped by the United States authorities, after going to look for them at schools, hospitals, even grabbing them on the street under a false premise that they are part of criminal gangs, a big lie that imperialism has not been able to sustain because everything has fallen to them, it's a lie,” he said after receiving a new group of migrants in the country.

He also reaffirmed that Venezuelan migrants are always received with love. “We always take security measures, the same measure of care for each of those who come and those who come on this flight,” he said.

At the same time, he pointed out that migrants who come with a background or have an open investigation are always treated through the judiciary.

“If it comes there as is the norm, it almost always doesn't reach 2%, that is, out of every 100, only two arrive with criminal records or requests; but if someone comes who has no legal account, we immediately do the health procedures (...) we do everything because we don't know what they did to them back in the United States and we must all take care of ourselves and take special care of them,” he said.
