This Monday, February 26, the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, stressed that the opposition does not celebrate or learn from its defeats.

“Why doesn't the right celebrate those days? If they tried, because the problem is that they don't celebrate their defeats, but they don't learn from their defeats (...) we were there that day, the National Leadership of our party (...) the courageous people dedicated, we do celebrate our victories and when they defeat us we learn from the defeats; those bugs don't, they don't celebrate or learn,” he said, recalling the events of the Battle of the Bridges.

He stressed that thanks to this courageous people who came out to defend the homeland, the opposition's plans were damaged and “the beers were cold for (Sebastián) Piñera, (Iván) Duque, (Luis) Almagro, Elliots Abrams, everyone”.

Also, during the PSUV press conference, he stressed that statements such as those of the opposition Diego Arria are painful, who “assumes with total shamelessness that the gringos, who are the bosses, are to blame for the opposition disaster; that's what he recognizes.”

He stressed that despite this, the Bolivarian Revolution does celebrate its victories and recalled the anecdote of the revolutionary Sonia Correa, who at the time was pregnant and took to the streets to fight for the sovereignty of the Fatherland.

“It was an invasion plan against our country and courageous women like Sonia, her pregnant mother told her: 'Don't go daughter, you can't' and what she said to her was: 'Mom let me fight, 'like Ali and she went to her battle front,” he said.
