Cabello on the Popular Consultation: An extraordinary day with a monumental scope!

The general secretary of the United
Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, described as extraordinary
the day of the National Popular Consultation that took place last Sunday, October 8, throughout the country.
“Today we are celebrating, because we are coming
from an extraordinary day, a day of monumental scope, on
the eve of October 20, of the Coup de Timón, our people are coming and giving an extraordinary
demonstration of mobilization throughout the national territory,”
he said during the PSUV press conference this Monday.
It also recognized the participation
of all the people who exercised their right to choose the project they
wanted for their community. “They came out to vote for their project in an
orderly manner, in peace, a campaign, a beauty of a campaign,” he said.
In addition, he also recognized the condominiums that joined the
day. “The condominiums were mobilized, they voted (...) hopefully there will be one for the next
one, it will expand even more given the results and they can participate; the president
has made an invitation for them to participate actively and whoever wants to
participate presents their projects and here we go then, there we go,” he said.
He reaffirmed that the Consultation is a sign of our “authentic democracy, our
democracy, where the people decide. A Venezuelan model, our model,
with special characteristics,” he said.
“We are happy and happy with the extraordinary day of our people
on October 18. Congratulations, our recognition,” he said.
