Diosdado Cabello to the Opposition: Keep Underestimating This Town!

This Monday, October 19, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, questioned the opposition sectors that insist on underestimating the Venezuelan people.

“Keep underestimating this Town, because this Town gives you surprises and will continue to give you surprises every time you give it a chance. Keep underestimating it, because it has been going well for them every time they underestimate us,” Cabello said during the PSUV press conference.

In addition, he highlighted what the campaign was for the Consultation, noting that it was full of joy, solidarity and recognition.

“Some people will ask: Why if all the campaigns of the Communes are like that, why are the others not like that, the electoral campaigns by office, where the opposition participates? It's just that they (the opponents) understand that it's about violence, it's about aggression, they don't understand it about coexistence, they don't understand it about solidarity, about recognition, they must come to devastate, destroy, and if they don't win, they snatch, and they don't know everyone, and that's where more violence comes from,” he said.

On the contrary, he reaffirmed that the Popular Consultation was an extraordinary process. “Popular Organization, an enormous number of people voted, exceeding expectations of participation,” he said.
